Importance of Chakra in cleansing human body


In yoga practices, Chakra therapy greatly influence body cells, organs and hormonal systems, person's thoughts and feelings. Chakras are energy centres in human body which aids to control all its process.

These chakras are storehouses and transmitters of the universal energies and each of chakra represents distinct frequencies within universal. The chakras interact with the electromagnetic energy field and transform this into the energy that maintain human life. 



Chakras are divided into seven zones, with each area having energy that must flow freely. Seven chakras that cleanse human body are as under:

Root (1st) — Base of the spine; red; governs survival instincts, grounding.

Sacral (2nd) — Lower abdomen; orange; governs sexuality, intuition, self-worth/-esteem.

Solar Plexus (3rd) — Upper abdomen; yellow; governs impulse control, ego.

Heart (4th) — Centre of the chest; green; governs compassion, spirituality.

Throat (5th) — Throat; blue; governs communication, emotion.

Third Eye (6th) — Between the eyes; purple; governs rationality, wisdom, imagination.

Crown (7th) — Top of the head; indigo; governs connection with the Divine.

Each of above mentioned seven chakras offers a different perspective on life on any given situation. They receive, store and express energy by interacting with the universal life force.

Yoga guru stated that balancing your chakras is a superb way to find balance within body and mind. Through chakras yoga practices, explained as focal points of awareness in human body, person can effectively balance physical, mental and spiritual health which may have great impact on his/her physical surroundings.

For mental health, chakra is beneficial for reducing anxieties, fatigue, depression and controls mood swings. Person can experience mental piece and get relaxed through adopting this therapy. In spiritual area, chakra therapy has great contribution in terms of improving concentration, sharpen memory, decrease the chances of negative thinking, develop clarity of mind and person can realize  that his/her life has some purpose in the world.

In broad sense, Chakra therapy is a calm approach and works well with body and energy field of person, maintains balance and co-ordination with the entire persons. Through chakra, person can improve physical, emotional, mental well-being as well as feel more energetic.
