Bake bread at home to prepare number of snacks
Bread slices are
basic breakfast meal for majority of people in the world. We all buy different
types of bread from bakery. Wondering if you get good recipe for bread and you can
bake it at home which is pure and delicious.
In this article, I
have tried to mention white bread recipe which bakes up deliciously golden
brown. Hope everyone will enjoy the taste of healthy bread and make yummy
sandwiches from this homemade bread.
Recipe for white bread:
Ingredients:

package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
·
2-1/4
cups warm water (110°F to 115°F)
·
3
tablespoons sugar
·
1
tablespoon salt
·
2
tablespoons cooking oil
·
6-1/4
to 6-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
Procedure of baking bread:
1. To prepare white
bread, first of all in a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the
sugar, salt, oil and 3 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining
flour, 1/2 cup at a time, to form a soft dough.
2. Knead it for 8-10
minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to
grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1-1/2
hours.
3. Place dough into
loaf pans. Cover and let rise until doubled, 30-45 minutes. Then bake at 375°F
for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bread sounds hollow when tapped.
Recipe for whole wheat bread:
Whole wheat bread is
healthy and easy to digest. To make this bread, follow the below method:
Ingredients:
Whole wheat flour
(Atta): 3 cups
Water: 1-1 ½ cup
Dry active yeast: 1
teaspoon
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Sugar: 1 tablespoon
Ghee or oil: 2
tablespoon
Curd: 2 tablespoon
Small quantity of
milk to brush the top of bread.
Directions for preparing the bread:
Take warm water and
add sugar and dry active yeast. Stir it till yeast activates.
Add salt to Atta and
sieve then add yeast mixture, curd and ghee and other ingredients. Mix well.
After that gently
start to knead the dough by adding sufficient amount of water and make it
smooth. Cover it and leave for 2 hours. After that punch and deflate it
lightly.
Place the dough in
greased loaf pan and cover it. Leave the pan for around 40 minutes.
Preheat the oven at
220o C. When the bread is puffed in loaf pan, keep it in the oven
and bake for 22- 25 minutes.
