Animal testing and natural erosion
Animals contribute to ecological balance and enhance the human living standard. Cruel nature of some experimental scientists does not consider the animals' safety, welfare, and quality of life. While experimenting on animals for human interest, these innocent animals are highly exploited and some may die that is really against the law of nature. At a global scale, millions of animals are raised and used in different products like drugs, medical experiments, cosmetics, and other goods. In the animal industry, cultivated animals are a major threat to the environment.
Though
animal testing is highly beneficial to augment the physical health of
individuals and inventing new medicines for life threatening disorders, such
experiments have severe repercussions in environments that imbalance nature
such as endangering the ecosystem, deforestation due to livestock farming and
release greenhouse gases to worsen climatic conditions. Additionally, animal
testing produces air, water and soil pollution that adversely impacts human
wellbeing. Animal testing leads to environmental waste and toxic chemicals such
as such as irritants, corrosive substances, asphyxiants, neurotoxins, and
carcinogens that may infect human beings and result in several life-threatening
diseases.
Another
environmental concern in animal testing is waste production. In experimenting
animals to test drugs for humans, a huge number of animal bodies, sheets,
caging, needles, and syringes are disposed of in natural environments that are
hazardous and contaminate air and degrade the ecosystem. Animal testing is also
a grave threat to biodiversity in which thousands of species extinction pose an
imbalance in the natural environment.
For animal testing, a large amount of food is required to breed animals. It puts pressure on agricultural processes that may further degrade the fragile environment. Overall, the ecological system weakens with animal experiments that can corrode future generations.
Last word:
Animal
testing to explore medications for chronic illness is the great interest of
scientists and industrialists. Numerous researchers visualize animal testing
for products that can be safe for humans. Companies are encouraged to
experiment on animals for creating new products in the market to generate
revenues without considering the adverse impact on the environment.
Animal abuse aggressively violates natural law and farmed animals used in
various researches are triggers of environmental crisis and drastic climate
change that can destabilize human life and species extinction.
