Causes of Premature death
Premature death is elaborated as death that occurs before
the stage where it is recognized by society as part of the natural, expected
order of life. Death of human at early stage is matter of serious concern. According
to The World Health Organization (WHO), a premature death as a death that
occurs before the age of 50. The WHO indicates that the age of 50 reflects the
global average life expectancy in 1948.
Medical researchers are deeply involved to explore the
root causes of premature deaths in humans. It is found in medical studies that
premature death of people is mainly due to diseases caused by smoking, high
blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, alcohol misuse, physical inactivity and
obesity and physical inactivity.
Several risk factors, such as age, gender and family
history, are not under control of people. Nevertheless, many lifestyle-related
risk factors can be controlled by people.
In the perspective of physical activity, when it is
stated “a higher risk of death/premature death”, it entails that an inactive
person die earlier than an active person.
Another most common cause of premature death at global is
cardiovascular disease (heart attack, stroke, lung disease), followed by
cancer, then accidents leading to fatal injuries.
Many practitioners recommend that certain lifestyle
changes can avert numerous serious health disorders.
- People must quit smoking as it is the major risk factor
for premature death.
-it is advised to control blood pressure. High blood
pressure is often denoted as the "silent killer" and cause premature
death.
-People must maintain healthy cholesterol levels to avoid
premature death.
-Person must be physically active to lessen the risk of
dying prematurely from cardiovascular disease.
-To maintain good health, it is not recommended to
consume excess of alcohol. It may be major cause of premature death.
Humans must make efforts to avert premature death through
exercise, consuming healthy food and have positive approach towards life.
