Flowers mesmerize humans





Almost all of us like to receive flowers on special occasions, especially Valentine’s Day. Flowers are one of nature’s beautiful things that have always enthralled humans. It is believed that soul of flower is closely related to human beings. Flowers make people happy and are perfect for all occasions. Whether it a birthday, anniversary, Valentine ’s Day, funeral or a wedding, there are flowers to suite. Flowers can be the ideal gift and a perfect way to express human emotions. And its not just women who like to receive flowers as a gift either.

The most beautiful flowers can bring a smile to someone faces who has been ill or having a busy day. There are different types of flowers that enhance human living and feel cheerful such as:

Cherry Blossom: The unofficial flowers of Japan, the spectacular display of blossoms that arrive in the spring are celebrated by festivals both in Japan and the U.S. The most popular colors are white and pink.

Dahlia: The dahlia is a genus native to Central America, Colombia and Mexico and they are characterized as bushy, tuberous and perennial plants. The plant was named after the botanist Anders Dahl. There are roughly 30 species and at least 20,000 cultivars.

Bleeding Heart:  These fanciful, almost fairy-like flowers are a traditionally preferred in shady gardens. The flowers are red, pink or white and appear in April-June.

Canna: It is a genus of nineteen species of flowering plants. The closest living relations to cannas are the other plant families of the order Zingiberales, that is the Zingiberaceae (gingers), Musaceae (bananas), Marantaceae, Heliconiaceae, Strelitziaceae.

Rose:  Everyone is familiar with rose flower. Roses are one of the dreamiest and superbly scented of flowers. The giving of roses is a tradition and cultural meaning, from the yellow rose of acquaintance to the deep red rose of true love. Most species are found in Asia but it is generally well distributed around the globe. Roses are considered one of the most beautiful ornamental plants to decorate any garden.

Plumeria: it is one of the sweetest flower that human likes. The scent is very light and sweet. People will likely to smell it again and again due to its unexplainable sweet scent. The flowers are very white with a little touch of yellow.

Tulip: The tulip is one of the most sophisticated flowers in the world as it is distributed from Southern Europe to Africa to Asia. Most of its hybrids are grown in pots and are popular fresh-cut flowers.
Lily of the Valley: Lilies of the Valley have clusters of small, white, bell-shaped flowers that hang from a strong reedy stalk

Lotus: The Lotus is a symbol of supreme reality. It is the national flower of India. In Indian psyche, it symbolizes both beauty and non-attachment. The lotus grows in fresh water ponds and lakes and in semitropical climates. It blossoms gradually and magnificently – one petal at a time and reaches full bloom when the rays of the sun kiss the flower.

It is also found that many flowers are trampled and used for therapeutic purposes. The hibiscus sabdariffa, also called roselle, is one example of a flower that serves as an effective laxative and has been used for centuries by herbalists and folk medicine practitioners. The flower contains high doses of ascorbic acid and glycolic acid and may also fight inflammation and water retention, according to the Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center.

Flowers are such a magnificent gift and so easy to send to someone that there really is no excuse for not doing so.
