During exam preparation, it is usually, observed that candidates neglect their health as they are deeply involved in studying to crack examination. Whatever students eat or drink, it greatly impacts on their performance level. But to beat the competition, it is necessary to retain good health so that brain may work more to solve complicated question and energy level can also be maintained. Several Nutritionists accentuate the significance of healthy eating habits at this hectic hours. According to dieticians, healthy food and drink can energize human system, improve alertness and sustain people through the long exam hours. But incorrect dietary habits can make students feel lethargic, nervous, or burned out.

-Candidates must eat meals rich in vitamins and minerals especially Iron and B vitamins that are important to maintain the physical and mental energy necessary to study well. Iron is rich in foods such as red meat, cereals and spinach. Good source of B vitamins are whole-grains, wheat germ, eggs and nuts. Fish and soy are other foods that help increase your brain function.

-Aspirants are advised to eat at regular intervals because it keeps nutrient and energy levels more stable.

- Aspirants must consume ample amount of beverages. It is imperative to select beverages well, but caffeine and sugar should be kept to a minimum.
Healthy and disease free body counts a lot to succeed in competitive examination. 

-It is to guide students that they must avoid brain blocking foods. During exam day, they should not eat foods made of white flour, such as cookies, cakes, and muffins, which requires more time and energy to digest. Also avoid foods that are high in refined sugar, such as chocolates, desserts, and candies.
