How to make website more pleasurable using JavaScript

JavaScript is a popularly used object-oriented dynamic scripting language on websites. It was established by Netscape Communication Corporation in 1996. JavaScript is useful tool for creating interactive websites as it is supported by all the browsers and works jointly with HTML.

Simply stating, JavaScript is a programming language that enable web developer to implement intricate things on web pages such as showing content updates in timely manner, or interactive maps, or animated 2D/3D graphics, or scrolling video jukeboxes. Syntactically, the core JavaScript languages resembles C, C++ and Java with programming constructs such as the while loop. The main javaScript language supports numbers, string and Boolean values as primitive data type. It also includes built in support for array, date, and regular expression object.

Main features of JavaScript are types and operators, core objects, and methods. Its syntax evolve from the Java and C languages, therefore many structures from these languages also apply to JavaScript. JavaScript can help to build dominant and reliable applications including websites and portals to boost valued online business.

Web designers can augment their skill base through JavaScript. It is the scripting language for client-side programming and for doing things that would be impossible with HTML and CSS alone. It is also widespread for server-side programming.

In short, JavaScript is a full-grown dynamic programming language. When applied to an HTML document, it can provide dynamic interactivity on websites.

One second far from death

We frequently travel for different purposes in life such as for work, medical reasons and leisure via train, road or by air. In today’s high paced life, we are susceptible to danger and there is a need to know the escape strategies to shield our families while travelling through any mode.

The main intent of this write up is to generate awareness regarding human error in aviation hazards. It is considered that flying is the safest mode of transport as there is aviation technical team to look after and crew members take care of passengers. Still we hear dreadful aviation mishaps.

It is a big question, why airplane crash and innocent passengers are killed.

Human errors are highlighted when any airplane crash news normally flashed. It is well evident that humans make mistakes therefore human error has been implicated in several occupational accidents. It is a general consensus of investigators, aviation intellectuals that most aviation accidents do not happen in remoteness. Instead, these are the consequence of series of events often ending with the perilous acts of aircrew. Errors signify the mental or physical actions of aviation members that fail to attain their intended outcome. When we talk about these errors in aviation, the most common error is decision errors which represent conscious, goal-intended behavior that proceeds as designed. Yet, the plan proves inadequate or inappropriate for the situation. These denotes to honest mistakes and such unsafe acts usually manifest as poorly executed procedures, unsuitable choices, or simply the misunderstanding or misuse of relevant information.

Another form of error in aviation disaster is skill-based errors which occurs with little or no conscious thought. Basic flight skills happen without momentous conscious thought. Consequently, these skill-based actions are particularly susceptible to failures of attention and/or memory. Actually, attention failures have been associated with numerous skill-based errors like the breakdown in visual scan patterns, inadvertent activation of controls, and the misordering of steps in procedures.

Lastly, there is perceptual errors which receives less attention in airplane crash. Perceptual errors happens when sensory input is ruined or “unusual,” especially when flying at night, in rough weather, or in other visually disadvantaged conditions. Pilots act on inadequate information and run the risk of miscalculating distances, altitude, and decent rates, along with responding erroneously to several visual/vestibular illusions. Basically, it is the pilot’s flawed response to the illusion or bewilderment.

For example, “Tenerife Airport Disaster”, the most heartbreaking incident occurred in March 1977. It was the vilest aviation disaster happened on Tenerife, with neither plane actually in the air. A total of 583 passengers in two different planes lost their lives unreasonably because of a combination of poor visibility due to fog and disordered communication between air traffic control and the two pilots involved, resulting in loss of situational cognizance.

Another dreadful aviation accident was “Air France Flight 447” in May 2009.  Air France flight 447 took off from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil bound for Paris with 228 passengers on board. Investigators found that main cause of the accident was the freezing of the pitot tubes which caused the autopilot to disconnect. This resulted in the aircraft switching from normal law to alternate law with no stall protection on control inputs. The poor diagnosis of the situation led to the pilot demanding full nose up.

A collision took place when one of the planes mistakenly thought they had been cleared for takeoff while the other was still on the runway. The pilot and co-pilot of the KLM flight only realized too late when they caught site of the PanAm flight through the fog.

To end this important discussion, we can sense that human factors have pivotal role in wellbeing in the aviation sector. Because single or hairline error of aircrew due to misapprehension or poor procedures can throw the passengers to death mouth and result in calamitous events. The state of passengers travelling from air is just One second far from death if things are not perfect.

Reasons for erupting sinus problems

Sinuses is a health problem around the globe. Health reports signify that this problem troubles millions of people in the United States. People who have allergies, asthma, structural blockages in the nose or sinuses, or people with weak immune systems are in risk zone of sinus.

The sinuses are air-filled cavities. There are eight sinus cavities in total. They are paired, with one of each in the left and right side of the face.

-       Two sinus cavities are in forehead.
-       Two are behind each cheekbone.
-       Two sinus cavities are within the bones between your eyes.
-       Two are behind each eye.

Sinusitis is a swelling of the sinuses. It is mainly caused by bacterial (germ) infection. Sometimes, problem emerges due to viruses and fungi (molds). Sinus ailment breaks the normal flow of mucus from the sinuses to the back of the throat. The tiny hair-like "sweepers" become blocked when infections or allergies cause tiny nasal tissues to swell. The swelling traps mucus in the sinuses.

People who have weak immune systems are prone to develop bacterial or fungal sinusitis. Acute sinus disease lasts three to eight weeks. If people suffer from sinus disease more than eight weeks, it becomes chronic. If there is an infection of the sinus cavity near to the brain, then it can be dangerous when left untreated. In exceptional cases, it can spread to the brain.

Sometimes, sinus problems are the outcome of a deviated septum. The front portion of the nasal passages has a firm but bendable structure of cartilage separating the two nostrils. The ideal septum should be placed right down the midline so that both nostrils take in and release air evenly. When the septum is too far from the midline, it is called a deviated septum and can cause sinus problems.

Another cause of developing sinus problem in people is Food allergies. Gluten intolerance and milk allergy trigger sinus disease. Environmental Allergies also lead to nasal problem. Dust, pollen, mold, and pet dander can keep the body’s defence mechanisms in hyper-drive throughout the day, leading to chronic and lifelong sinus complications. Additionally, some chemicals such as cleaning products, air fresheners, and cosmetics can cause post-nasal drip and other sinus problems.

Sinusitis symptoms:
Common symptoms of sinusitis include:
-       Postnasal drip
-       Discoloured nasal discharge (greenish in colour)
-       Tenderness of the face
-       Frontal headaches
-       Pain in the teeth
-       Coughing
-       Fever
-       Fatigue
-       Bad breath
-       Eye pain

Sinusitis diagnosis:

People, who feel they are suffering from sinus disease, must visit to doctor for proper diagnosis. In most cases, sinus disease can be treated. Diagnosis depends on symptoms.

If sinus disease lasts longer than eight weeks, a sinus CT scan may help doctor to diagnose the problem.

Sinus disease Treatment:

Doctors prescribe antibiotics for bacterial sinusitis. Antibiotics are usually taken from 3 to 28 days, depending on the type of antibiotic. Antibiotics help eliminate sinus disease by attacking the bacteria that cause it. Topical nasal decongestants can be helpful if used for no more than three to four days. If drug therapies do not work, surgery may be recommended as a last option. It is generally performed by an otolaryngologist.

Natural remedy for Chronic Sinus Problems:

Traditional methods to treat chronic sinus problems include antihistamines, decongestants, and expectorants. These may work in the short term to address symptoms but they do nothing to address the original cause. Patients with chronic sinus problems must explore the allergies of foods and environmental causes that trigger such medical condition.
In general, people grip under sinus must flush their nasal passage, take steam, spice it up and apply warm compressor.

It is well documented in health reports that Sinus infections strike about millions of people around the world. Sinusitis is a common health problem in which the lining of the sinuses becomes swollen. It is usually caused by a viral infection and often recovers within two or three weeks. It is not a worry for people if their symptoms are mild and recovered with time but if symptoms are severe or getting worse, then person must get advice from general physicians to know the causes of developing this medical condition.

Application of Big data

Big data is data that surpasses the processing capacity of conventional database. In IT sector, new and emerging technology is big data and analytics. It is evident that speedy expansion of information technologies, colossal volume of information and data can be amassed. Big data and data analytics have become evolving research arena and hugely magnetize to academia, industry and administrations. Scholars, businesspersons, decision makers and problem solvers visualize ‘big data’ as an effective tool to transform various industries and sectors, such as business, healthcare, retail, research, education and public administration.

It can be recognized that big data can revolutionize the way company identifies and relate to their customers base. Undoubtedly, companies can boost the conventional marketing strategies using the new big data tools and techniques. Market penetration techniques can leverage the big data to nourish marketer’s information to retain existing customers and augment repetitive sale. Similarly, new customer engagement strategies like gamification, promise, and improved loyalty level.

Several Data scientists squabble that big data is cost effective approaches to tame the volume, velocity, and variability of massive data. Big and small enterprises continually attempt to design new products to deal with big data, the open source platforms.

Big data has several features. Initially, the propagation of data storage and rapid growth of hypermedia, social media and the Internet of Things (IoT) created huge amount of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. Structured data is the most direct form of data. Structured data has precise, fixed formats, making management of data relatively easy. In unstructured data, specific patterns are missing. This is an important feature of big data, because of this trait of unstructured data, it goes further than many traditional data or analysis. Data is collected in various formats, not only in figures, but also in the form of texts, photos, video’s, and even geographic locations and time through GPS signals. Semi-structured data is amalgamation of both structured and unstructured data. Semi-structured data is not always controllable by means of standard techniques but despite this, analysing these formats of data is still possible through ad-hoc or one-time implementation.
Additionally, big data contains several sources of data, for example the Internet, social media and sensors. Finally, there are also differences in the processing of data.

Big Data can be used successfully in the following areas:
-       In information technology to augment security and troubleshooting by analysing the patterns in the existing logs.
-       In customer service by using information from call centres in order to get the customer pattern and consequently boost customer satisfaction by customizing services.
-       In cultivating services and products through the use of social media content.
-       In detecting fraud in the online transactions for any industry.
-       In risk assessment by investigating information from the transactions on the fiscal market.

The value of big to company falls into two categories. First is an analytical use and other is enabling new products.

Assessing the advantages of big data, it is found that big data offers companies immense prospects to gain competitive advantages. By using big data, firms can manage on a more precise level than before, because big data creates a greater availability, visibility and clearness of information. This provides methods for organizations to explore new patterns and connections in data on a level that was not attainable without the use of big data. Another key merits of big data is cost reduction. When companies adopt the techniques of big data, the collecting, storing and analysis of data becomes easier and inexpensive.

However, in spite of great benefits, there are also some drawbacks to implement big data in practice. There are technological challenges. Technological challenges are based on IT infrastructure, security and privacy.

In concluding the dialogue about big data, it is settled that there is immense significance of big data and Big Data Analysis within the modern social structure as people are living in an Informational Society which is moving towards a Knowledge Based Culture.

Cross country skiing: awe-inspiring winter sport

Cross-country skiing is extensively popular sport and recreational activity and magnetizes to huge number of sports lovers. In cross country skiing, skiers depend on their own drive to move across snow-covered territory, instead of using ski lifts. It is a traditional type of skiing practice and regarded as one of the top Nordic sports.

Cross-country skiing offers many benefits to sports persons or thrillers. Skiing pools both a lower body and upper body exercises, while concurrently working both the “pulling” and “pushing” muscles of each region. It means there is full body workout. It also helps in burning calories which may be a cause of severe disease like diabetes. Cross-country skiing is wonderful aerobic workout to improve cardiovascular endurance and health. Another key benefit of skiing is social engagement which enhances mental health and lessens stress and anxiety triggered by office workload and family issues.

In cross country skiing, there are two basic types of cross-country styles and equipment. One is classic, the other skate. In both cases, the boot is attached at the toe, leaving the back heel free to lift during the push-off. Beginners are recommended to do classic ski first.

For cross country skiing, sports person must wear dress according to weather conditions. Synthetics and wool cloths are best choices because they allow moisture to evaporate. Cotton blends are not recommended for this recreational sport as it absorbs and holds moisture.

Cross-country skiing is a fun and enjoyable recreational activity for gamut of pupils, from the youngsters to adults. In nutshell, cross-country skiing is moving from flat land on a groomed trail with cross-country skis. Many sports thrillers consider this as a marvellous outdoor winter adventure sport.

Buddhism is a prominent belief spreading globally through its great principles

Buddhism is popular creed which is followed by global populace. It comprises of the lessons of the Buddha, Gautama Siddhartha which developed the main Mahayana dogma to change life of people. Buddhism has immense impact on East Asian countries. Buddhism was evolved in India and illuminated its rays to China and adjacent countries like Hong Kong, Japan, Korea. The doctrine of this religion influenced the culture of these countries.

It is observed that people from different culture comprehend Buddhism in dissimilar way and particularly they can contrast the modern attitude towards Buddhism with the traditional viewpoint. Buddhism is not limited to particular culture. It spreads very easily from one culture to another because the importance in Buddhism is on inner practice instead of external practice. Buddhism has produced absolute assets of reflection on meditation. Basically, the Buddha deals with practical problems and resolves them in a concrete way.

One central belief of Buddhism is often denoted to as reincarnation, the concept that people are reborn after dying. Actually, persons go through many cycles of birth, living, death and rebirth. There are three major divisions of the Buddhism tradition. These include the Theravada, the Mahayana and the Vajrayana. The four noble truth of Buddha are:

Ø All life is suffering
