Celebrating my first jovial carnival with spouse

Turning point in my life was got married with settled professional to whom I never met before. It was the planned ceremony of parents and I honored their move with heart. Still, I was doubtful whether we may have compatibility in life or not as I am an ambitious and career enthusiastic female. In early days of married life, I was not aware of his personal attributes. I was closely monitoring the moments and tried to grasp his feelings and actions to steer successful life.

My birthday was about to come after one month of my marriage date and my parents were excited to celebrate it with full ecstasy. They planned to visit my place for grand celebration. At that time, I was staying with in-laws’ house and was governed by their family rules. Therefore, sometimes, I got scared how they will react to my parents when they will come for birthday celebration.

The celebration day came and small gathering was organized at in-law’s house at dinner. My parents also joined and extended tons of blessing with gifts of my choice. I was very happy and immersed in joyous feeling as all were so good to me and offering their blessing on my special day.

Suddenly, my spouse surprised me with huge packet of gift and gave birthday wishes that really thrilled me. I had not expected him on my birthday as he didn’t get leave from office but somehow, he managed to attend the ceremony that counted a lot for me. The most stunning part of celebration was the unique gift brought by spouse that I had not expected.

He gifted me a traditional and stylish attire that I had thought of buying before marriage but due to budget constraint, I couldn’t get the same. I was in deep thought that how he knew my hidden desire as I had not shared my aspiration about dresses with him. I was curious to know how he sensed my keen desire to have that modern dress.

When I asked him, he smiled and then disclosed the secret of choosing the special gift to make me joyful and add color in married life. He narrated the sequential happening since marriage date. “Just after marriage, at my mother’s home, I was packing my items and about to leave for new house, my mom discussed with me that she could not buy one gorgeous outfit but will plan later to gift you. I told her don’t worry mom, you did a lot for me. I will never ask for the same.”  My spouse told me that “he heard this conversation accidently when he entered to my room to discuss about next ritual. When I heard this, I enquired with other member of family about pretty dress, they innocently gave all information. Afterwards, I planned to buy the same dress and gift you in your birthday”.

After knowing his deep love for me and caring nature, I am really proud of having his wife and this elegant gift turn my birthday memorable.
