Skydiving: A thrilling and adventurous sporting activity

Skydiving, also called parachuting, is an amazing sport which factually goes to the extreme end of unforgettable experience. Sports enthrallers skydive not only from aeroplane but also from helicopter or from gondola of a hot air balloon.  It is considered as a recreational and interesting competitive sport. With the advancement of internet technology and the boom of social media, the sport of skydiving has grown exponentially.

 Skydiving is basically an air sport. It is a kind of action-sport in which contestants exit from the aircraft and return to the earth only with the support of gravitational pull. The sport involves either a solo-flight to compete with other performers, or in hybrid formation. During skydive, Sports performers can fully enjoy the freedom and control of the air.

There are some important guidelines when people are ready to go for skydiving:

Participants must wear loose fitted clothes. They must prepare to spend several hours at the drop zone. It is recommended that divers must eat normal food and be well hydrated when planning for skydiving.  Before going skydiving, it is suggested to leave all valuables in the car or with a companion or friend on the ground. Skydivers must be trained for parachute landing in order to avoid any misfortune. Proper guidance and good practice is necessary to choose skydiving as a sport. Sports people must be well aware of the risk of skydiving. Major threatening factors in skydiving include equipment failure, bad weather conditions. landing injuries and overconfidence of players. Players also should not consume alcohol or any narcotics within 24 hours when involved in skydiving.

Skydiving is an audacious sport which allows people from all age groups to enjoy the sport. Players must be in good health and have passion for doing adventurous things in life. Such activities really amaze elderly people because they can spend good time skydiving and feel the pleasure of living a wonderful life.

In spite of no age limit for skydiving, some health conditions restrict the person to go for skydiving. People suffering from Cardiovascular  problems, neck/back injuries, pregnancy, diabetes, epilepsy/seizure disorders and asthma/respiratory issues are not permitted for skydiving.

Skydiving is a thrilling recreational and competitive sport for people. Generally, skydive denotes the time spent by participants in freefall from exiting an aircraft to deploying a parachute. All ages can skydive but it is advisable to contact physicians before planning to involve in this thrilling, adventurous recreational sporting activity.
