On a morning walk on Sunday, we senior couple were slowly stepping forward on a wide road adjacent to our colony. Soothing environment with mild cold breeze was fueling us to go for a long walk. We were talking about daily activities ahead. We turned right to the shopping mall side road and walked toward the front gate where bikers were ready to start bike riding. Our excitement was at peak. As an elderly couple, we were eager to know the biker's thrill and how they are organizing everything for a successful trip. First of all, while on the walk, we just enquired about what was the purpose of the bike trip whether it is sponsored or self-tour. They told us we are going for fun, to spend the holiday and experience spectacular scenery, have delicious food.  After taking a round when we returned, bikers were still there as they were waiting for one of the bikers of their group to join.  We were so curious to understand the whole trip and more information about safety. So, we approached them to explain more about biking trip. Youngsters were glad and shared important inputs.

They informed us that we have a WhatsApp group of those zealous to join and spare time for biking tours on holidays or Sunday. On this day we have planned a bike ride to a remote destination, Narmada River bank in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh that is carefully organized. All interested bikers had sent a message to assemble in front of the shopping mall timely.  During trip planning, all bikers were taught to carry necessary items like water bottles, dry fruits, first aid medicines, a comprehensive repair toolkit and safety gadgets to manage challenges of journey to an isolated area. They thoroughly checked the bike's exact fuel. They also did great research on road map, fuel stations, road conditions and were well prepared for unexpected robbery threats. All these kits and eatables may help them to drive safely and reach the destination on time to enjoy the holiday. An important part of research was to list out scenic routes and also calculate time of stay so that they can return before sunset as it was a one day bike tour. 

Biker’s lead told us that this trip may prove to be sporting as well as a relaxed weekend getaway with other bike riders who can exhibit their riding skill and equip beginners to gain mastery over bike riding. Their group is highly structured and willing to participate in riding to capture unforgettable memories. All bikers were cordially communicated that this bike riding trip is not a competitive sport. Instead they gathered to relax from their busy work schedule and drive with full vigor to live a jubilant moment that may be marked as a lively memory of life. Bike riders were systematically told to follow traffic rules even in village roads. They have to give respect to fellow riders, maintain discipline, and navigate as a team. They all know that a visual infographic or quick-reference guide for signals are important for bike riders.

 Further they asked us for suggestions or comments on bike riding. We really felt honored and gently suggested not to panic in case you all watch any strange object on the road. If you face any threatening scenario, don’t shout instead deal with courage. We also suggested them to limit the speed even on traffic-free and smooth roads and do not overtake any speedy vehicle. Our main concern for you all is to follow all safety measures and drive intelligently to feel the real pleasure. Though risks are heavily alleviated with logical approach, professional bikers may also confront the risk obstacles. Bike riders were in full mode to celebrate sport tradition in the Indian biking community and have their own prospects to fill color in life.

Biking on Sunday was a special moment for us to see youngster’s passion and their efforts to expose themselves to a challenging environment. We also had a photo session and people shot videos of biker groups. That day of our walk was recorded as a pleasing experience of life because there was a gentle, guided and blissful exchange of thought between two life zones, youngsters and golden age couple (elderly brainy husband and adventurous wife).
