Deforestation: A natural destructive force

Deforestation demolishes the natural environment that threatens living organisms. Grave effect of deforestation encompasses the loss of biodiversity, upsetting the water cycle, impairment in natural surroundings, and soil erosion. Cutting trees at mass level in wider areas of land leads to deforestation. Other grounds of deforestation are natural calamities such as flooding or fire that can remove trees, shrubs and vegetation that keep balance in nature. Deforestation also results in global warming and rapid climate change.

Forests are important for survival of land-based species, in balancing greenhouse gas emissions, providing a clean environment for breathing and defending against sudden climate change that can jeopardize humans. Dense forests offer a range of benefits to species as these have power to make fertile soil, bring rain, and prevent flood like situation in urban areas through absorbing excess water caused by heavy rain. Forestation also prevents drought and land degradation that can be helpful for species to live in a pleasant atmosphere. But human activities, use of technical savvy gadgets can degrade the environment and slowly vanish the majority of trees, plants and other useful grasses that cause deforestation.

Deforestation can cause slow CO2 absorption and as a result, it threatens human living. Deforestation on a massive scale isa matter of concern for climatologists or environmental scientists because it worsens the environment, unbalancing the weather cycle that unfavorably impacts on mental and physical health of human and other species. Many species disappear as a result of cutting a large number of trees because they lose their soothing atmosphere and home. Agricultural expansion, wood extraction (e.g., logging or wood harvest for domestic fuel or charcoal), and infrastructure expansion are major grounds of deforestation that impedes environment and leads to massive killing of animals. Deforestation may have serious social and economic consequences in specific regions. Due to clearing of trees and natural plant beauty, many species and populations relocate and lose their traditional livelihood.

Effectual strategies to hold up deforestation are planting trees at mass level, developing national parks, wildlife preserves and running active natural campaigns to ignite awareness among people for retaining forests.

Bottomline:

A natural environment must be hygienic for the living of millions of species on earth. Deforestation is a poor practice adopted by humans to pollute the environment, disrupt the normal functioning of animals, and other living organisms, imbalance greenhouse gas release and cause severe climate change that directly impacts on survival of humans.
